People that are curious learn the most, they also grow the most. They learn to ask question so that their curiosity is satisfied. This means, that they seek answers to their questions. Curiosity is the engine of intellectual achievement.

By staying curious, you seek to grow your mind, with books, networks, people, magazines and so on, seeking information and that is what drives us to keep pushing forward. We WANT to learn more.

We can, for sure, note that curiosity increases our knowledge. It keeps us alert and help us stay motivated, helps us explore, accomplish and act. It moves us forward and creates a structure for us to participate in life as curiosity often is the link between feeling stuck and having us moving into our greatest life.

People that are curious:

• do not label things as boring – that closes the door to curiosity
• ask open questions and a lot of them
• keep an open mind
• do not take things for granted – they want to know why, how, where and why
• read a diversity of books
• love to learn new things
• find out things that others wouldn’t

The question are as important as the answer

Curious people are often very eager to get the answer so that they sometimes aren’t giving the sufficient time to the question. Which could be as important as the answer. If you want to increase your own curiosity a question should open up the information gap.

People that read and listen get a positive understanding of today. It will increase their belief in themselves and their future. They know that they can make an impact, it is all about learning something new.

Fear overrides curiosity

Did you know that fear overrides our desire to know? But it can also give you other benefits such as:

• an active mind
• a mind that is observant for new ideas
• perspectives
• excitement in your life

If you were to hire staff, you would probably look for a person that is curious, that wants to know more, because the benefits of having such a person will make it much easier to get them into the tasks assigned. People that is curious is often happier and more fulfilled.

You decide your own actions, but if you have the chance and the will, change your future and start being more curious, you don’t know what is around the corner. Maybe a great opportunity that you would have passed aside if you weren’t curious.
